The Radiant Heat Reflector uses NASA spin-off technology to keep your pet's shelter cool. The material used in the cover is used on the Space Shuttle, Hubble Telescope and other satellites to protect them from radiant energy in space. It's made of fire resistant polypropylene sandwiched between two sheets of 99% pure aluminum. This material reflects 97% of any radiant heat which strikes its surface.
