The Gateway installs quickly and easily without damage to woodwork, due to its four non-skid mounting pads. No tools or hardware are needed to install this gate. A special gauge included with the gate tests for recommended pressure. This ensures the gate is securely installed, yet allows an adult to easily release the handle using one hand. The gate door opens in either direction, while the frame remains firmly installed. Constructed on lightweight solid steel and protected with a non-toxic coating, this gate provided the strength and security that every parent expects. The Gateway comes in white and is designed for openings of 30'' to 36'' wide. The door measures 20'' wide. Optional extension kit KC-G155 is available for 36'' to 41 1/2'' wide openings. (May use only one extension.) Gate measures 29 1/2'' high.
